Abstract:
This article, highlights some of the projects that have been implementing sensor webs using the OGC's vendor-neutral interoperability framework for Web-based discovery, access, control, integration, and visualization of online sensors and sensor data (see sidebar "OGC Sensor Web Enablement Standards").
