SANY Sensors Anywhere

This is a second public demonstration with aim to show currently available results of the prototype applications developed within SANY Project in the contest of air quality monitoring sub-project (SP4).

At this event, we shall demonstrate the use of the SANY software and Sensor Service Architecture in air monitoring, and discuss the direction of the SANY project with potential users and operators of the environmental monitoring systems. In particular, we shall address following questions:

• What is SensorSA; why do I need it; how does it fit into GEOSS/GMES/INSPIRE/etc..; how does it relate to OGC? (introduction)
  
• What are the advantages of SensorSA for application builders and end users (demo: SP4 quality assurance application)
  
• How can we pre-process the data and improve the information flow in SensorSA (demo: cascading SOS and "formula 3" time-series algebra)
  
• How to build a standard-based and self-configuring environmental monitoring system (demo: plug-and-measure with SensorSA data acquisition system)

Note: The event will be organised in German.

This event primarily targets the end users, decision makers, and operators of Environmental Information System. the participation is free of charge and open to all interested parties. However, we can accommodate only a limited number of participants. Early registration is highly recommended.
