SANY consortium is composed of 16 partners from seven EU member states (At, Be, De, Es, Fr, Pl, Uk) and one associated state (Ch). It includes two SME’s, two research centres, three universities, four public authorities and one international standardisation organisation.
The consortium partners have been carefully chosen in order to satisfy a number of objectives, namely:
to create a critical mass for research carried out at the European level, but to not exceed this critical mass;
to involve exactly the expertise required to carry out the implementation plan;
to choose a good mix of industrial, academic and end user partners, with a good coverage across Europe, including new members states, but at the same time keeping the consortium compact; to involve only partners with a proven record of excellence in their field;
to have considerable involvement of SME’s.
Following pages contain short descriptions of all SANY partners, including their roles in the
SANY IP.
